Veilleux and Zediker are chefs with a strong passion for food and hospitality and will work closely on menu development and more both at Peppers and the new Farmer and the Fork Café at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, managed and operated by John and Susan Lawrence. Eric and Samantha Zediker are parents of children ages 6, 5 and 3. The chef continues to “stay up to speed” on new cooking trends and techniques, attending classes in the Boston area. He has worked in Boston restaurants and most recently he was the executive chef for the Greater Boston restaurant group Tavern in the Square, helping to open the company’s Shrewsbury restaurant. Zediker, originally from Syracuse, New York, graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. With a strong background in fine dining, Veilleux plans to bring new concepts to the table, “helping to bridge the gap (food) between Boston and Worcester.” Veilleux and his wife, Laura, have three daughters ages 10, 8 and 5. He also has been associated with Boston restaurants, including Legal Sea Foods and Grill 23, and has worked for Aramark at Fenway. He has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as an executive sous chef for Catered Affair in Boston, where he worked for eight years. Veilleux is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
